Color of the Year: Rose Quartz & Serenity

Last week Pantone announced their color of the year, and for the first time ever they announced not only one, but two amazing colors, Rose Quartz and Serenity. One thing we love about the colors is that while they are amazing individually, they are even better paired together! Like Leatrice Eiseman from Pantone said,

“Joined together Rose Quartz and Serenity demonstrate an inherent balance between a warmer embracing rose tone and the cooler tranquil blue, reflecting connection and wellness as well as a soothing sense of order and peace.”

Rose Quartz has been pretty popular in weddings as it pairs well with so many different colors and looks amazing during any season. From dresses to flowers, it’s soft yet warm making beautiful and romantic.

Serenity is cool and tranquil, resulting in absolutely gorgeous styling! It’s quiet and simple, but doesn’t wash out easily. Pairing it with greens, whites, and other natural hues won’t let you down!

How beautiful do they look paired together?! The pairing is feminine but not too girly, and bright but not too spring like. The Rose Quartz brings warmth to the otherwise cool Serenity and together they really just set the tone perfectly.

We have seen glimpses of these colors in weddings this year already, but we seriously can’t wait to see them more in this upcoming year! You can definitely expect to see your Pinterest pages filled with all sorts of gorgeous designs in Rose Quartz and Serenity in the upcoming months, so keep an eye out for them!
